Candidate Profile
A devoted resident of the Bay of Plenty, my husband Kevin and I have raised our five children here.
With strong financial acumen and detailed accounting knowledge from my career as an Auditor at KPMG to my current role as Finance Manager at Veros, I have complemented these skills with a decade of teaching English in Japan.
Passionate about contributing to our local community, I have been active through church, schools and sports clubs for over 20 years, coaching and managing teams up to the national level, including as a New Zealand Water Polo Manager. My experiences have honed my communication skills and deepened my appreciation for an inclusive, engaging community.
As a Trustee, I would commit to fostering and empowering community initiatives, ensuring TECT continues to enhance vibrancy, connectedness and growth in the region, while being a strong guardian of its finances to secure ongoing benefits for future generations.
