Tēnā koutou,
Tauranga born and Paengaroa raised, this is a place of deep connection for me.
As a Trustee I would be focused on the wise stewardship and growth of assets, alongside the strategic distribution of funds amongst our community. I am a community practitioner and have been working in the charitable sector for the past 15+ years, bringing a strong community perspective to important funding decisions. Having a grass-roots lens to governance roles is my passion and previous contribution to the Board room, built upon experience within the energy sector, youth development and bi-cultural education and engagement.
I will carry the voice of young people into this Board room, engage with tāngata whenua and act to uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
It would be my honour to represent you and work collaboratively to see a flourishing Tauranga and Western Bay for all people, especially our mokopuna, our children’s children.
